Two Key Bears' Young Players Both Out Sunday vs. Jets
The Chicago Bears, who can't seem to catch a break lately, will be short-handed against the surprisingly good New York Jets. Indeed , both rookie defensive backs Kyler Gordon and Jaquan Brisker are listed "out" with concussions.
That means a defense that has struggled to keep opponents under 30 points each game will be without two of its best players. The Bears have allowed a league-worst 117.7 passer rating over the last four weeks.
With Brisker out, the Bears will likely turn to DeAndre Houston-Carson as the team's starting strong safety beside Eddie Jackson. As for Gordon, we could expect a few people to fill that void, including Jaylon Jones, who has seen a little bit of action at corner lately.
