Trevis Gipson is PUMPED to be back inside Halas Hall
It was the start of a 3-day minicamp for the Chicago Bears on Tuesday.
It's safe to say that Trevis Gipson was extremely excited to be back!
Gipson was excellent last season and he should only get better with experience.
In fact, Gipson's 87.0 Pass Rush Grade in 2021 ranked 10th among all Edge Rushers. This is some seriously great stuff for a rookie who was thrown into the action when Khalil Mack went down last season. Safe to see he stepped up massively.
Here is what a Bears writer had to say on Gipson:
Trevis Gipson is going to blow up in 2022. He recorded 7 sacks in 9 starts last year. It was a confidence-building year. Now, with Mack gone, his path is paved for a breakout season. He's the main reason why I don't think the Bears will draft an edge in 2nd round. He's THAT guy.-Byan Perez
I have to agree with him. The sky is the limit for this guy and I have a feeling HC Matt Eberlfus will be able to help him reach his full potential very soon
