The Return of Former 1st Overall Pick and Super Bowl Champ Is Approaching, Reports Confirm
After suffering a thumb injury in week 8, Rams QB Matthew Stafford has been sidelined. Now, he is expected to return this Sunday against the Seahawks:
Stafford, who spent most of his career on the Lions, helped lead the Rams to a Super Bowl win in the 2021 season. Since then however, he and the team have not looked so good.
As most NFL fans know, Stafford has been dealing with injuries since his rookie year back in 2009.
Though he has dealt with several injuries, he has also made some of the best returns, as in 2011, he won Comeback Player of the Year.
Stafford is expected to be fully healthy now and will likely start for the Rams on Sunday.
