The End of an Aaron

Well, boys, we did it; we hit the trifecta! With last week's Packer's loss to the Lions, they are officially eliminated from the playoffs! Along with Lovie Smith being fired, even after a win, and the Bears getting the number one pick, it's been a great day to be a Bears fan.
We had a terrible season but guess what? Rodgers lost, and the end of an Aaron has just begun. Where will Rodgers be next year? On a couch? On another team? In Green Bay? Who cares? He won't be on the field this year representing the NFC in the playoffs, and I think that's as good a win as any for us today.
As an unapologetic Lovie Smith and Aaron Rodgers hater, I can say that getting the top pick is just the icing on the cake that got Smith fired. I trust Poles and company to make the right moves this off-season and get Justin some help going into next year. They'll make some trade-downs, I'm sure, probably to get us some receivers. I'm going to soak in the win and enjoy gloating over the Packers for a day.
