The crazy wide receivers market continues
It was announced the Buffalo Bills and WR Stefon Diggs have agreed to a MASSIVE contract extension of 4 years, worth $96 million. Ian Rapoport also reported that Diggs gets a $21.5M signing bonus and $70M in total guarantees.
This averages out to $24 million annually. This is such a high number. This contract now puts him right in the mix of the highest-paid WRs. Of course, when you have great players like Diggs and you consider yourself a contender, you need to pay the big bucks in order to keep them.
This continues the trend of paying an insane amount to wide receivers this offseason!
