The Bears have signed a new player!
Ari Meirov reported that the Bears and TE Ryan Griffin have agreed to terms on a one-year, $2.25M deal.
Griffin, 32 played for the Houston Texans from 2013 to 2018 and the New York Jets from 2019 to 2021. He played in 119 games and started 67 of them. In 12 starts last year, he had 261 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. While those stats are far from spectacular, he could provide solid veteran help and be a reliable goal-line target for QB Justin Fields.
