The Bears have requested permission to interview Packers' defensive pass game coordinator/DBs coach
The Bears have requested permission to interview Packers defensive pass game coordinator/DBs coach Jerry Gray for an as-yet-undefined defensive coaching position. Gray is also interviewing this week in Atlanta for the vacant defensive coordinator position.
Gray was a star defensive back in the 1980s and has been coaching in the NFL since the 1990s, primarily with defensive backs but also a couple of stints as defensive coordinator. He's coached for several teams, including Tennessee, Buffalo, Washington, and Seattle.
Gray has been in Green Bay for the last three seasons. He had stints as a coordinator with the Bills and Titans earlier in his career.
