The Bears have hired a new running back coach!
The bears have filled their last big coaching spot left vacant, the running back coach. David Walker, former Syracuse running back will be in this position. He is 52 years old and has over 25 years of coaching experience in the NFL including with the Lions and the Colts. He was also the primary running back coach for those two teams.
Walker grew up in Rochester, New York, where he was a four-time all-county player.
Walker coached some great running back in his long career including Lesean Mccoy and Walter Reyes.
This is yet another great signing from the new Bears' head coach Matt Eberflus. With pretty much all the coaching staff assembled, they will be able to get themselves accustomed to each other prior to a very important stretch of the year.
