The Bears could have an amazing pass-rushing duo this season!
With the loss of Khalil Mack, the Bears now have an open spot at the edge-rushing position. However, it might not be that open. Indeed, LB Trevis Gipson might run away with the spot, and for good reason.
Now, we already know that Robert Quinn is a pure stud. He was simply amazing last season and he was clearly the best player on the Beard whole team.
Here is a clip of him showing how explosive he still is a as pure pass-rusher:

On the opposite side of him, Trevis Gipson could become is a real blue-chip player in Matt Eberflus' system. He will see so many one-on-one situations with Quinn on the other side and I truly expect him to take full advantage of them.
He was so good last season that he was clearly the surprise of the year for Chicago's team. In fact, Trevis Gipson's 87.0 Pass Rush Grade in 2021 ranked 10th among all Edge Rushers in the NFL.
He totalled 7 sacks opposite Robert Quinn and finished the season with a decent 70.4 grade (per Pro Football Focus). It will be interesting to see how he is used next season and how new DC Alan Williams rotates his pass-rushers.
Here is one of his sacks against Penei Sewell:
