The Bears brought out 5 defensive players for a tryout!
While the Bears' defense has been very solid so far and is pretty much the reason why this team is in 2-1, GM Ryan Poles and his crew are still trying to find ways to get better on both sides of the ball.
Indeed, Brad Biggs reported that the Bears brought in 3 linebackers for a tryout: Tae Davis, Kuony Deng, and Blake Lynch. They also worked out 2 DBs: Tevaughn Campbell & Isaiah Pryor.
It will be interesting to see if any of these players are able to crack their way into the 53-man roster. While roster changes like that are rarer during the season, we still see a few each season for every team.
