The Bears are listed as the perfect fit for this 5x Pro-Bowl left tackle
Pro Football Focus has made a list of the perfect fits for 8 of the best remaining free agents on the market. For now, let's focus on OT Duane Brown. He was linked with the Chicago Bears.
Brown, is a 15-year NFL vet. He has only played for two different teams in his career. Houston Texans (20082017) and Seattle Seahawks (20172021).
Even though he is on the bad side of 30, he is still a very solid player. In fact, in 2020 he posted an 87,1 PFF grade an in 2021, he had a 71.5 grade. Those are very respectable numbers. In addition to that, he has not missed a single game in the past two seasons so we know he is very durable. I 100% believe he can still give at least one good season for any team and maybe even more.
He would, most probably, be a starter for the Bears. In fact, he would be the starting left tackle and Teven Jenkins would be playing RT. For a short-term deal, I would be thrilled to see him joining the Bears.
