Super Bowl champion safety has very high praises for CB Jaylon Johnson
I think one of the best ways to truly evaluate just how good (or bad) a player is in the NFL is by picking the brain of their peers. The opposing players are the ones who play against your favorite player and they are, in my mind, in the best position to say which players are the best.
Well, Daniel Greenberg reported that Bears CB Jaylon Johson is receiving great compliments from a certain safety in the league.
Los Angeles Rams safety Terrell Burgess tells me that Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon is a «great player with a great work ethic!»
Burgess on Johnson: «Sky is the limit. Can't wait for everyone to see it!»
Burgess was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the 104th overall pick in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He suffered a broken ankle in Week 7 and was placed on injured reserve on October 27, 2020. The following year, Burgess won Super Bowl LVI when the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.
I think he is right that Jaylon has such a high ceiling. He has been such a solid player ever since he stepped foot on an NFL field. I also expect him to thrive even more in Matt Eberflus' scheme this season.
