Shannon Sharpe had a problem with someone recording him without his permission as he walked through the airport.
Shannon Sharpe, being a well-known individual, is often approached by fans who request his autograph. However, he takes issue with individuals who surreptitiously record him engaging in mundane activities, such as walking through an airport.
Recently, while making his way through the airport, Sharpe observed a man recording him. As a former NFL tight end and current Fox Sports host, he is accustomed to being in the public eye, but he prefers to maintain control over his image and how it is captured on camera.
Presently, Sharpe is grappling with a defamation lawsuit filed against him by former NFL quarterback, Brett Favre. The lawsuit alleges that Sharpe, along with Pat McAfee, utilized media outlets to spread false accusations and implications regarding Favre.
Favre has submitted a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, asserting his innocence and asserting that the initial accusations were propagated in order to deflect blame from the department responsible for the misappropriation of nearly $100 million in public funds. To date, the former Super Bowl champion has not been criminally charged for any alleged actions.
As of yet, Sharpe has not issued a response to the lawsuit.
