SEE HERE: Former Commanders Head Coach Jay Gruden WENT OFF on his Former QB Robert Griffin III (Video)
On Thursday night, former NFL QB Robert Griffin III made a video bashing on his former head coach, Jay Gruden:
As heard in the video, RG3 called out Gruden for his unprofessional and sloppy coaching approach's, which RG3 blames for his unsuccessful career, both on and off the field.
In response to this video, Gruden, in a now deleted tweet, went off on his former player, saying:
"You weren't good enough. Kirk was better. Cleveland didn't want you. Baltimore did either. Quit blaming me"
Though this call out has since been deleted, Gruden did post a video of RG3 to mock him:
RG3 played under Gruden for only one season in 2014, where he struggled with injuries and his off-field presence with the media.
Then when the 2015 season approached, RG3 was demoted as the third-string QB, and was inactive all season long. He was then released from the team in early 2016.
There is clearly still a lot of bad blood between the two.
