Saints RB Alvin Kamara has been Suspended

As reported by Adam Schefter, Saints superstar running back Alvin Kamara has been suspended and will be missing the first 3 games of the 2023 season:

This suspension comes after the incident from 2022, where Kamara was involved in a fight outside of a nightclub. He was arrested and charged, but is no longer facing charges.

Because of this issue and a possible suspension, Kamara had a sit down chat with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. After the meeting, Kamara stated that the conversation went well, via NFL.com:

Even though the chargers were dropped and the conversation went well, the NFL has still decided to suspend Kamara. It looks like they were aiming for a longer suspension, but due to the good meeting, the suspension is only for 3 games.
