Ryan Pace Explains Why The Team Cut Tre Roberson.

"The Chicago Bears and general manager Ryan Pace made some waves this offseason with some big name free agent signings. One of the more interesting ones was when Pace signed CFL standout cornerback Tre Roberson to a two year deal. Roberson had interest from multiple teams and had a small bidding war for his services. But now he's gone before even playing a game. Pace explained that Roberson broke his foot and it was disappointing. He added that while the situation was disappointing, he said the team had been scouting him heavily in the CFL and will work with him to get him back to action for the 2021 season.

Pace on the injury & release of Roberson- He broke his foot. Calls it «disappointing». Noted they scouted him heavy in the CFL but says they are going to work through it with him.
