Roquan Smith receives a great honor from his high school.
Roquan Smith is now known by Bears fans as the insanely athletic middle linebacker that can fly all around the field and makes plays. Well, for Roquan, it all started in a very small town called Montezuma in Georgia.
Indeed, Smith attended Macon County High School in Montezuma, Georgia, where he played football for the Bulldogs.
Well, it was reported that Macon was retiring Roquan's jersey yesterday. This is a huge honor that will make Smith very proud, I'm certain.
In addition to that, Roquan is also awarding a scholarship to each of Macon County's five signees this year. Hopes to keep it up going forward.
