Robert Griffin III shockingly fired by ESPN: details

Robert Griffin III has been a bit of a controversial figure on ESPN, and specifically, Monday Night Football.

It was recently revealed that RG3 had been demoted from Monday Night Football for Jason Kelce. Subsequently, it is now being confirmed by The Athletic that RG3 has been completely fired by the network in a move that no one really saw coming.

Griffin has two years left on his contract, which certainly makes things that much more complicated. Either way, the network has made its stance on RG3 crystal clear. Only time will tell whether or not he can land on his feet.
