Report: Chicago Bears have Interviewed Seahawks Coach, Highly Respected & Close Relationship with WR DK Metcalf
As revealed earlier this evening, the Bears have interviewed Seahawks passing game coordinator and WR coach Sanjay Lal:
The Bears are interested in hiring Lal to join the team to work on the offensive staff, likely to focus on the receivers.
This interview comes shortly after the Bears hired former Seahawks OC Shane Waldron as the new Bears OC.
Lal has been the passing game coordinator and WR coach on the Seahawks since the 2022 season. He is highly respected on the team, and has earned a bunch of praise from Seahawks All-Pro WR DK Metcalf:
"He (Lal) pushed me to be a great receiver. Broke down routes like I've never heard before"

Lal and Waldron have worked together in Seattle since 2022, and have helped created an exciting offense. Now with Waldron in Chicago, will Lal join him?
