In a new article from Pro Football Focus (PFF) they predicted all of the likely landing spots for free agents this offseason, and predicted Jaguars All-Pro WR Calvin Ridley to land with the Bears:

PFF - 2024 NFL Free Agency: Potential landing spots for top quarterbacks and wide receivers

"With D.J. Moore in place, Chicago could get two players who are interchangeable as X-receivers up on the line and as good move/Z-receivers with alignment versatility. Both can create separation vertically, but Ridley could take the top off defenses even more and let Moore utilize his high-end after-the-catch abilities at the short and intermediate levels"
- PFF's Brad Spielberger wrote

Ridley was the Falcons first-round draft pick in 2018, and was named onto the PFWA All-Rookie Team and as an All-Pro during his time in Atlanta.

Following the 2021 season, the NFL announced that Ridley would be suspended indefinitely due to betting on previous games, and even with this suspension, the Jaguars traded for him ahead of the 2022 season, even though he would be out for at least one year.

Ahead of this past season, Ridley applied for reinstatement and was allowed back into the league just a few weeks later.

Ridley went on to have a solid season with the Jaguars, making 76 catches for 1,016 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Ridley is set to hit free agency this offseason, and with the Bears making many changes to their staff and potentially to their players, adding in Ridley to the mix could very well happen.
