Ohio State's QB C.J Stroud honors Dwayne Haskins in practice
The tragic and sudden passing away of former Ohio State, Washington and Pittsburgh Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins shocked everyone in the football world. I think it made us realize that life is really short and that those kinds of things can happen to anybody. It also made a lot of people realize that you need to treat everyone with respect and understanding (I speak to you, Adam Schefter and Gil Brandt).
I can't imagine how difficult it must be for teammates and former teammates of Dwayne's.
Haskins was such a great college football QB. At Ohio State, he actually finished 3rd in 2018 in the Heisman race. This earned him a first-round selection the following NFL draft.
I'm certain that all of the Ohio State football family is deeply affected as well. Here is a cool tribute from current OSU quarterback C.J Stroud:
It says «Long Live DH7. DH7 stands for Dwayne Haskins #7 (his college number)
RiHIMba» means Rest in Heaven Simba (Him cause Haskins was that guy)
Simba was Dwayne's nickname
