Offseason Update: Chicago Bears have Hosted All-Pro Free Agent on a Visit
As reported earlier today, the Bears have hosted a visit for free agent safety Kevin Byard:
Byard entered the NFL in 2016 after being drafted by the Titans as the teams 3rd-round selection. He then went on to have an amazing 8 years in Tennessee, where he was named as a 2-time Pro Bowler and a 2-time All-Pro.
During the 2023 season, Byard was traded to the Eagles, but only stayed with the them for one year, until being released last week.
Now, Byard is a free agent and looking to sign somewhere soon. The 30 year old safety still has a lot left in the tank and could make a great leader on the Bears.
