Not Good: Chase Claypool is on the PUP List
As reported by ESPN's Field Yates, Bears WR Chase Claypool is on the physically unable to perform list (PUP), and will not be able to play during training camp.
Claypool did not practice much during OTA's due to an injury, and even though it looked to have healed, that is clearly not the case.
Even though he is on the PUP list, that does not mean that he will be sidelined for all of training camp. Once Claypool passes his physical he can return to the field immediately.
This is not ideal for the Bears, as Claypool is a receiver who needs as much practice and training as possible. After a disappointing season in 2022, the Bears need Claypool to step up.
Hopefully his time on the PUP list will be short, and can soon return to training camp.
