NFL writer lists 10 Bears players that will be gone in free agency
Bears new General Manager, Ryan Poles has a lot on his plate in the upcoming weeks. He will have to bring in multiple players in both free agency and the NFL draft. However, he will also have to let go of some players that played for Chicago last season. He does not have unlimited money to spend. We expect that, with a couple of moves, he might be able to have around $40 million of cap space to maneuver on the market.
NFL writer, Adam Jahns of The Athletic listed 10 players that he thinks the Bears will let go in a few weeks. Here it is:
Allen Robinson
Akiem Hicks
Andy Dalton
Tashaun Gipson
Bilal Nichols
Germain Ifedi
Damien Williams
Alec Ogletree
Jesse James
I have to agree with almost all of them. I do think that Ogletree still could provide some good services for any team as a rotational linebacker. I would not mind him coming back to Chicago next season. The same goes for Nichols that could be a good player next season as a 3 technique defensive lineman.
