NFL insider says Brady will be the starting QB for the 49ers in week 1
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported that he strongly believes that Tom Brady will be the 49ers starting QB in week 1 next season.
He said this quote: "I'm telling you, it's unavoidable. He's not gonna lower himself to have to dirty himself the way Aaron Rodgers is. He's gonna work it all behind the scenes. I just I think he's gonna be with the 49ers Week 1 (of the 2022 season).»
He also said that it is a "classic mid-life crisis step 1, a divorce from the Patriots, step 2, a short-term relationship with a trophy girl [like the] Buccaneers, step 3, a late-night text to the high school sweetheart, a.k.a the 49ers."
The high school sweetheart part is because Tom Brady is from the San Fransisco area, and his favourite team growing up was in fact the 49ers.
I feel like Brady would thrive so much in a Mike Shanahan offense. He would be helped by an amazing offensive line and a top-tier running game.
If he is correct, what do you think this will mean for the rest of the NFC?
