NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning is Going back to School...Kind of
As revealed by the University of Tennessee, NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning will be joining the school this fall as a professor with the College of Communication and Information Faculty:
Before entering the NFL in 1998, Manning spent his college career with the University of Tennessee, serving as their QB from 1994-1997.
The University retired Manning's jersey number in 2005, so no player on that team will ever where the number 16 again. He was then inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2017, 4 years before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
After retiring from the NFL, Manning stayed close to the game. He has served as a TV personality revolving the football world, and has even won 2 Sports Emmy Awards for his work.
Now, Manning is back in school and will be a professor at the place he called home before the NFL.
