New Bears quarterback is THRILLED to be in Chicago!
It was announced on Thursday that the Bears have agreed to terms with Trevor Siemian on a two-year deal.
It's safe to say that he was very glad about his new team and hometown!
The school he is referring to is Northwestern University located Evanston, Illinois. It's very close to the new Bears facility. In fact, Northwestern is only 14 miles from Bears' stadium, Soldier Field.
Siemian is a former 7th round pick by the Denver Broncos. He surprised everyone and gained the starting job as soon as in his second year. He played 3 seasons in Denver and he was a pretty solid quarterback.
He signed with the New Orleans Saints last season. He played in 6 games and started 4 of them. Although he didn't win a game, he played actually great. In those 4 starts, he has 1154 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
