Chicago Bears 2018 first round pick Roquan Smith still hasn't joined the group, and it doesn't look like he'll be with the group anytime soon. As the Bears make their way through the 2018 preseason, Smith continues his holdout and it could start to hurt the rookie's 2018 season. Matt Nagy feels missing so much time could impact his season, especially the first couple of weeks. "Yeah, I would say so. I think it does," noted head coach Matt Nagy. "You're playing at that position, there's a lot of calls that go on. It's very similar to a quarterback. There's a lot going on. But, I have full confidence in Vic and his staff that when he does get here, they'll get him up to speed. Whenever that is, we'll see. That's why we all get paid as coaches. We try to help our players out as much as possible. That's kind of where we're at."
The Bears will play their third preseason game when they take on the Denver Broncos on Saturday and as of now it doesn't look like Smith will be joining them. What do you think of Nagy's comments?
