This could be a good opportunity for rookie Jack Sanborn who was one of the biggest surprises of training camp. He played so well in both practices and pre-season. Many felt the linebacker out of Wisconsin deserved to get drafted but, the Bears were lucky to scoop him up as an undrafted free agent.
In preseason, he made 14 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery. His instincts stood out as soon as he stepped on the field.
