Matt Eberflus' practice pace is something else!!
With a new regime in place, the Chicago Bears are in the midst of another rebuild. General manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus are showing the players that changes are the only consistency they'll see at training camp.
The biggest, most obvious change is clearly the pace of the practice. There is a clear difference between this year's training camp and the previous one. The new coaching staff are big believers in playing hard and being in great football shape. Matt Eberflus will coax effort from his players and get rid of the ones who don't comply. His H.I.T.S. system is based on his players hustling harder and being better-conditioned than his opponent. Training camp is where that begins.
Check out a few reports about this subject:
Cody Whitehair said of the Bears' work this offseason program: "It's intense, don't get me wrong. But this team is young and we kind of need that intense practice. ... You got to expect an intense practice. The guys have really worked hard."
