Matt Eberflus explains how much he loves being a part of an iconic franchise like the Bears
You could make a case that the Chicago Bears are one of the 6 or 7 most historic franchises in football. The list of achievements by Chicago is impressive, so much so the Bears could easily be in the top five or even No. 1. Eleven championship game appearances, winning seven. Two Super Bowl appearances, winning one.
The 1985 Bears also had the best defense of all time. And those 700-plus wins are pretty damn good.
If one player defines the success of the Bears, it might be Walter Payton. He was not just productive but classy. That is also part of success.
Here is what the new Bears' head coach Matt Eberflus had to say about what it means to be the coach of this great team.
