Massive Proposed Trade Could See The Colts Getting No. 1 Overall Draft Pick From Bears
There is already discourse over what the Chicago Bears should do with the first overall selection.
I am of the idea that the best-case scenario is a trade. I believe Ryan poles should try and build the best team possible around QB Justin Fields.
Well, if he indeed chooses to go this way, Heavy.com is proposing a massive trade that could make that happen. Here it is:
Colts receive Bears' No. 1 overall pick in 2023.
Bears receive Colts' No. 4 overall pick in 2023, a second-round pick (No. 35) in 2023, a first-round pick in 2024, and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner.
I think this would be a massive win for Chicago. With the 4th pick, they would likely have a shot at either Jalen Carter or Will Anderson to boost up the defensive front even more with Buckner on the way. I also like that the 35th pick is involved.
