Justin Fields Reveals Why he Turned Down Netflix
As stated by Bears QB Justin Fields in a press conference, Netflix's show "Quarterback" reached out to him to be featured in season 2, but Fields declined the offer. Fields said:
"They actually did reach out, but I don't think I'm gonna do it"
Fields goes on to explain that he does not want a camera crew following him around, as he feels it may change the vibe of the team.
Fields is not someone who always shys away from the camera, as he was featured on the Netflix series "QB1: Beyond the Lights" before entering college. The series followed 3 high school senior QBs who were committed to NCAA Division I college football teams in the fall. Fields was featured in season 2, which was filmed while he was in high school.
During the conference, Fields adds in that maybe he would do the new show in the future, but for the time being, he is declining the offer.
