Justin Fields is not oblivious to what the internet is saying about the Bears' offense. Many say that Fields is gonna struggle and lead the worst offensive unit in the NFL. These experts blame their takes on the roster put around Fields. A bad offensive line and No weapons to throw to.
Fields was asked about this during his first meeting with the media on the first day of camp. The young QB said he isn't preoccupied with what others have to say.
«I'm not really worried about showing the league anything, I'm just worried about winning games. I'm not trying to prove myself to anybody, I'm not trying to do this and that, take opinions into account. My job is to win games and, of course, make the playoffs. So I'm not worried about anything.»
When asked what it felt like to not be dominant as a quarterback for the first time in his life, Fields responded:
«I'm going to work until we get that super bowl trophy. As long as I'm here, I'm going to work to help us win games and help us get better each and every day. Failure pushes me to go harder.»
We are excited to see where Justin Fields' developpment will take him this year, and how he can make this offense function.
