Interesting: Former Packers DC will be Interviewed by the Bears for open Defensive Coordinator Position

As reported earlier today, the Bears will be interviewing former Packers DC Joe Barry for a spot on the Bears:

Barry has been working in the NFL as a defensive coach since the year 2000, and most recently was working as the Packers defensive coordinator from 2021, until being fired after this past season.

The Bears are currently on the hunt for a new DC after firing Alan Williams earlier this past season, and though Barry is a former Packer, the Bears are still intrigued.

However, the last time the Bears hired formal division rival, they ended up with OC Luke Getsy, who was anything but a fan favourite.
