Highlights of our newest tight end!
We reported earlier today that the Bears claimed TE Rysen John off waivers from the New York Giants.
John, 24, spent last season on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. He arrived in the NFL by way of Vancouver Canada.
This guy is a physical specimen. In fact, he possesses an intriguing combination of size and speed. The 24-year-old stands at 6-foot-7, weighs 237 pounds and ran a 4.60 40-yard dash time at the 2020 NFL Combine.
This is so impressive. While he does not have the experience that other players have playing Div. 1 football in the US, he still has a very high ceiling as a player and he could potentially find his way into the roster or the practice squad, at least.
