HC Matt Eberflus shares his point of view on Sunday's loss
The Bears fell short of the Green bay Packers on Sunday Night. This means that the Bears now have a win-loss record of 1-1 after losing by a score of 27-10.
While we did see some positive things in the game, we mostly saw negative from Matt Eberflus' squad.
"Obviously a disappointing loss for us," coach Matt Eberflus said. "There were obviously some bad things in there that we have to clean up and some good things that we have to take forward with us.
"As I talked to the players in the locker room, we still have a 24-hour rule, and when this happens and you have adversity, it stings, and it hurts. You have to soak that in because it is the same thing with a victory. You can only hold onto that for so long and then you have to let it go. The guys understand that and we will get back to work tomorrow.
"We will look at the corrections, each individual performance, and they will get with their coach to improve our football team next week."
I think this is a fair reaction from Eberflus. I know that this loss stings, but I still believe that we need to be pleased with the way some young players played and we have to keep in mind that playing on National Television, in a primetime game at Lambeau Field is one of the hardest things to do. I'm confident that this young team learned a lot during yesterday's game.
