This morning, while speaking in front of congress, former NFL QB and Hall of Famer Brett Favre revealed that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease:
Favre was drafted by the Falcons as their 2nd-round pick in the 1991 draft. However, after only one season, he was traded to the Packers.
In Green Bay, Favre's career truly took off and that is where he found most of his success and played his very best football.
Before retiring from the NFL in 2010, Favre was named as an 11-time Pro Bower, a 5-time All-Pro, the 3-time NFL Most Valuable Player, and a Super Bowl champion.
Favre was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 and has his jersey number retired by the Packers.
This news of his diagnosis came as a shock to NFL fans around the world and we are all very saddened to hear of this news.
