As reported earlier today, former Pro Bowl QB Tyler Huntley has been released by the Browns:
Huntley went undrafted back in 2020 following a college career at the University of Utah.
Shortly after the draft, Huntley signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent and stayed with the team for 4 seasons.
Late in the 2022 season, Ravens starting QB Lamar Jackson went down with a knee injury that knocked him out of the rest of the season. Huntley then become the starter for the team, starting in 4 games and throwing for 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Many QBs were injured late that season, and due to Bills QB Josh Allen being hurt, Huntley was named as his replacement for the Pro Bowl.
Earlier this offseason, the Browns signed Huntley, but they have decided to release him due to a crowded QB room.
