Former NFL Punter Pat McAfee Gets BACKLASH after Wild Caitlin Clark Comment

During today's episode of the "Pat McAfee Show," McAfee went on a rant about how WNBA star Caitlin Clark has been treated during her rookie year, to where he then made a controversial comment:
As heard, McAfee referred to Clark as a "white b*tch," and though he was defending Clark, this was certainly the wrong choice of words.
After this clip went viral, many took to Twitter to share their thoughts and reactions:
Following the backlash he received, McAfee released a statement, saying:
"I shouldn't have used «white bitch» as a descriptor of Caitlin Clark. No matter the context.. even if we're talking about race being a reason for some of the stuff happening.. I have way too much respect for her and women to put that into the universe.
My intentions when saying it were complimentary just like the entire segment but, a lot of folks are saying that it certainly wasn't at all. That's 100% on me and for that I apologize I have sent an apology to Caitlin as well.

Clark has certainly been getting attacked by her fellow opponents on the court, and McAfee was trying to stick up for her. However, as someone with the a huge platform like his, he needs to do a better job with what he says on live TV and how he speaks about women.
