Former Commanders DE Chase Young Reveals Hurtful Way He Found Out About His Trade to the 49ers

As revealed by former Commanders and newly acquired 49ers DE Chase Young, he found out about the trade via social media:
Young, who was the 2nd overall pick in the 2020 draft, has been a member of the Commanders for the past 4 seasons, but was then traded to the 49ers as the trade deadline came to an end.
After being asked about what his reaction was from the trade by a reporter, Young answered by saying:
"Nah, honestly I got everything off social media, just like you guys. I was just playing my game and it happened"
Though most players find out about their trade from the team themselves or their agent, Young actually found out the way we all did, which was social media.
