Former Chicago Bears CB has been Arrested, TMZ Reports
According to TMZ, ex-NFL player and former Chicago Bears CB, Buster Skrine, has been arrested for bank fraud.
TMZ states that Skrine was arrested on Wednesday, as it was reported that he acquired $100K from banks throughout Canada. Skrine found ways to take cash, and created a scheme to do so:
"They (the police) claimed as part of his scheme, Skrine would identify himself as a retired NFL player, open bank accounts with fraudulent checks, and then obtain a portion of the dough before the check cleared"

Skrine was drafted into the NFL back in 2011, and played with the Browns, Jets, Bears, 49ers, and Titans, and then retired in 2022.

Skrine finished his NFL career with 590 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and 10 interceptions.
After being arrested, Skrine has been served for 14 chargers, which include fraud and possession of property obtained by crime.
