Former Bears Pro Bowler is Eyeing an NFL Return, Gaining Lots of Interest from Teams
As announced by ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler, former Bears and current free agent DE Akiem Hicks has drawn interest from several teams for a mid-season signing:
Hicks was drafted by the Saints back in 2012, but his best years came after signing with the Bears in 2016.
Hicks spent the next 6 seasons in Chicago, where he lead in career sacks with 8.5 in 2017, and was even named to the Pro Bowl in 2018.
The veteran is interested in returning to the NFL, and several teams are interested in adding him to their roster.
