Former Bears All-Pro Announces Retirement from the NFL
As he announced earlier today, former Bears kicker Robbie Gould has retired from the NFL:
Gould is best known for his time spent with the Bears, as he signed with them in his rookie season after going undrafted.
Gould stayed with the Bears from 2005-2015, and was named as a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro. He is also currently listed at number 62 on the 100 greatest Bears of All-Time list.
The Bears then released him ahead of the 2016 season due to financial reasons, but we will forever remember him as a Bears legend.
He finishes his career with a total of 447 field goals made on 517 attempts, along with a percentage of 86.5%.
