Expert beleives this is the year for rookie CBs
Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated made a list of multiple "Bold predictions" for the NFL season. One of those that really caught my eye is when he talked about rookie cornerbacks.
Here is the quote:
A rookie will finish in the top three in interceptions
This year's rookie class has a ton of promise. Kyle Hamilton, Sauce Gardner, Derek Stingley Jr., Trent McDuffie, Kaiir Elam, Andrew Booth Jr., Kyler Gordon someone will get picked on and make other teams pay for the mistake.

Let me remind you that the Bears have two secondary players that would fit this mould in S Jaquan Brisker and CB Kyler Gordon.
When you take a look back at history, the rookie year has not been an easy one for the majority of secondary players. This is one of the hardest positions for a young player to adjust to quickly and have success early on.
Well, hopefully, this changes and Orr is right. I think the Bears got two amazing players in Gordon and Brisker and we will be talking about them for years and years to come... and for good reasons!
