Eagles' QB says there's a bounty on his head every game
The Giants were one of four potential opponents the Eagles could have played this week and their game last weekend was on the big screen at Philadelphia's complex while Sirianni reviewed a potential game plan against their NFC East rival.
«We were preparing for the games and did a lot of work on the Giants that day,» Sirianni said. «We got it right there.»
It's been a month since QB Jalen Hurts sprained the SC joint in his right shoulder against the Chicago Bears. Hurts did make a return in week 18, helping Philly to a win, but he didn't look himself, despite putting up decent numbers. The Giants were the last opponents the Eagles faced as Hurts passed for 229 yards, making 20 of 35 attempts but not throwing for any touchdowns, while he did for one interception.
Well, it looks like Hurts is expecting to receive a few hard hits this weekend...
"It's football. I've got a bounty on me every week I go out there on the field," he said. "So, I'm going to go out there and just play my game, and whatever happens, happens."
