DL Carl Nassib, who has made History, has Revealed that he is Retiring from the NFL
DL Carl Nassib has announced that he is retiring from the NFL, via Instagram:
Nassib made headlines, and history, after becoming the first active NFL player to openly come out as gay. He came out back in 2021, and received a ton of support from teammates and other NFL players.
Nassib was originally drafted in the NFL by the Browns back in 2016, after a standout college career at Penn State.

Nassib seemed to not be able to stay on a team for more than 2 years, and found himself bouncing around to different places.
Nassib finished his career playing for the Browns, Buccaneers and Raiders. His final stats include 187 tackles, 25.5 sacks, and 19 pass deflections.
