Devonta Smith pulls off the ''Brett Favre'' celebration!
DeVonta Smith may have entered the Naughty List with his Saturday touchdown celebration against the Cowboys.
Following a 9-yard touchdown from Gardner Minshew to make the score 34-27 Smith's second touchdown reception of the night the second-year receiver made use of the NFL's Salvation Army kettle. Instead of jumping in it or even playing whack-a-mole, Smith had a fantastic, awful idea straight out of the Grinch's playbook:
The Cowboys proceeded to notch a 40-34 win over the Eagles, but it sure wasn't due to a lack of effort from Smith. The second-year wide receiver out of Alabama recorded eight receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
However, while he intended to do the "grinch" celebration, many on the internet immediately saw it as the Brett Favre celebration.
Let me remind you that the Hall of Fame QB is in hot water for his connection in the Mississippi welfare scandal involving roughly $77 million misappropriation.
