Devin Hester makes his case for him to be in the HOF
We made the case on so many occasions that Bear's legend Devin Hester should make the Hall of Fame.
Yesterday, he made an Instagram post with a very passionate message to the people saying he doesn't deserve to go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Here is the what he wrote on the caption:
OK enough is enough, people when you make comments about things please know what you're talking about, first off I know that I'm not going in the Hall of Fame for wide receiver, but as a Return man. Kickoff and punt return is what I do, and that's why my name gets brought up when we talking about the Hall of Fame. I only play offense because 31 teams was scared to kick to me. #Facts Film don't lie. I knew I wasn't a #1 receiver or even #2. But what I can say is I never got a lot of 1 on 1 Coverage Throughout my years of playing on the offensive side of the ball.🤷🏾♂️. @nfl @profootballhof
He is 100% right. It's not because I am buyest on this one. Hester should have been a first-ballot Hall of Famer a few months ago. The impact he had on the game of football is immense. He truly changed the game and he made some of the biggest plays we have seen in the history of the sport. I still am hopeful that the committee will do right and name him in next years' class.
