Dan Orlovsky had a Twitter feud with Bears fans this morning
First of all, most Bears fans have not forgotten about Dan Orlovsky's comment about QB Justin Fields made last year.
Let me remind you what they were:
« I have heard that he is a last-guy-in, first-guy-out type of quarterback. Like, not the maniacal work ethic. I've even heard it compared to Justin Herbert, where it was like, dude, when Justin Herbert showed up, he was like a psychopath when it came to working and get ready for the draft. Or even at school, like, «Give me more, I want to work non-stop.» And I've heard that there are issues with Justin Fields' work ethic.
The second thing is Where is his desire to go be a great quarterback? I think that there's a desire to be a big-time athlete, from what is expressed to me, but where is his desire to be a great quarterback? And to be great, you gotta be willing to find the things that you are not good at and just freaking grind on them.»
Today, he was at it again... Here is what he tweeted out this morning:
Must read on LetsBearDown
You can see that he clearly mentioned that WR Darnell Mooney is not a WR2, which is ridiculous. Bears fans went crazy in Orlovsky's mentions.
Here is an example of some of the responses:
Another fan said:
While I agree this his pass-catchers are pretty damn underwhelming, I feel like you're severely discounting Darnell Mooney here.
He may not be a WR1 but he's a very quality WR2 who compliments well Fields' ability to go deep.
In response to those comments, Orlovsky doubled down that Mooney is not a WR2:
Not your best take Dan Orlovsky, not your best take...
